Fair Grove Farmers' Market Awards


The Fair Grove Farmers' Market Awards are in.

I had such a over whelming turn out from the customers as well as the vendors.

I handed out voter forms the last 2 weeks of the market to customers as well as vendors, to vote for there favorite vendor and why. We all meet at Hilltop pizza for a Vendors night out and to hand out awards and all vendors received a Agri Mo shopping bag. All the Vendors are winners with there hard work and dedication.

Gene every week would visit all of our Vendors and customers and set the market signs along the highway even if he did not set up to sell that week , he was there.

The Fair Grove Farmers’ Market Cafe
Gary ran and operated our Market Cafe for the past 2 years, We are so lucky to have a cafe.
And all the left over pizzas at the end of the night , he would bring out and give to our Vendors,

Fair Grove Farmers’ Market 2009
Ray and Jan adopted 4 kittens the last week of the market from a customer, that the mother cat could not take care of. They are at there home getting bottle fed. The customer was in tears and was so relieved that she found a home and that they wouldn't die.

Sandra meets and greats all her customers and talks about her products (homemade soaps and lotions) with great knowledge and great pride. Sandra is one of our newest vendors.

Brad and Writa show great confidence and pride in there produce and they have a great looking display. They are planning on having more variety of produce and are in the planning stages of more products.

For the volunteer hours and dedication to the growing with kids club for Fair Grove Farmers’ Market 2009 Season
Our Kids Club would not be with out Larry and Josephine. They volunteer every week and help kids and educates them on how to grow there own garden.

And was Voted the NO 1# Clown and Most Cheerful at the 2009 Fair Grove Farmers’ Market
Every week Dennis would meet and great all the Vendors as well as the customers. The last week of the Market he played his drums using a rain barrel he makes. He took requests for a song but it always had the same beat.
