The Fair Grove Farmers' Market is currantly taking applications for a meat vendor for the 2012 Season

The Fair Grove Farmers' Market vendors casted a vote and The Market Hours will be 3pm till 6:30 pm this year.
They felt that this would help our customers that need to get to church. And when they pick there kids up from school they can head to the market. We hope this will help you our customers'

The last day for the Fair Grove Farmers' Market is Oct 5Th. We had a very challenging season with the extreme heat cooking the produce on the vines and tree's. It is always sad for me to say good bye to the vendors and customers for the season. The Market will have a free cup a chili at the market for all the customers,(while supply last) prepared by Our Vendors.
It is our way of saying goodbye for the year and Thanking you for supporting our market throughout the year and shopping at the Market.
The market will have local honey and Leah's Tortillas, Sandra's Soaps and lotions and a few tomatoes,
The Blos will be there with there baked breads and goodies. Jennifer Farr with her pottery. Sean with his coffee.
So be sure and stop by and stock up on jams and jellies from Natures Lane. Get your hot peppers for your home made
salsa. I will have pumpkin bread as well as zucchini bread and my cinnamon Jelly.
Mr. & Mrs. Do will be at the market handing out free Forsythia Shrubs while supply last.

The Hot weather has been pounding and burning the produce on the vines. Our Vendors work hard to get the produce to the market.
The sweet corn will be at The market for the next 2 weeks.

Our Market strives on our Children.
The Dowells have gone above and beyond and have made a positive impact to The Fair Grove Farmers' Market and to the community.
To help raise awareness of the importance of Eating Healthy food and to be self producing.
And to strive to the parents the importance of not raising a couch potato but to teach kids to raise a real potato from there own garden. And how 2 people can make a difference in our children's life Like the Dowells.
The produce is starting to arrive, each week you will find more and more produce, carrots, blueberries,
June 22ND the Peaches should be here.
Be sure and check back, when they will be at the Market for sure.
The last week for the kids club will be Wednesday the 15Th.
On the June 22ND Jennifer Farr will have her pottery class for any child that signs up. There is a $10.00 fee. This helps pay for the paints and clay and firing of the pots. The 22ND the kids will create there own pottery dish then on the 29Th they will come and paint there creation and then on July 6Th they will pick up there completed creation.

The Fair Grove Farmers' Market will have the Convoy of Hope at The Market June 1St from 3:30 till 7pm, to accept donations for all the communities around Joplin and for Joplin.
Please bring non perishable items or Money. Even 1 dollar can help feed a family and help them in this time of need.
There are strawberries at the market along with fresh tomatoes. There are lots of bedding plants as well as hanging flowering plants. Beef, Pork, Chicken, fresh farm eggs, lots of baked goodies, pottery, tortillas just to name a few items. Fresh ground roasted coffee.
Rain Barrels so when it stops raining you will have a supply of rain water.

Northern Greene County Farmers' Market will be held each Wednesday afternoon in 2012 from 3:00P.M. to 6:30pm, just off Hwy. 65 in Fair Grove. Our Market will open for the 2012 Season on April 18Th and will Run untill Oct 3Rd.
The Fair Grove Farmers' Market is a GROWER ONLY MARKET. What this means is no vendor is allowed to buy and resell produce from auctions,or from anyone else, what they sell is what they grow!
